Pediatric Surgery at Sinai Hospital
The Division of Pediatric Surgery at Sinai Hospital provides comprehensive surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of conditions and congenital malformations. If surgical care is required our pediatric surgeons are capable of treating such conditions as neonatal intestinal obstructions, abdominal wall and thoracic anomalies, hernias, undescended testes, appendicitis, tumors, inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux, and disorders associated with the lungs or abdominal organs.
Our surgeons have experience using the latest techniques including pediatric minimally invasive surgery, commonly referred to as laparoscopic and thoracoscopic surgery. A dedicated team of pediatric anesthesiologists, nurses, and other subspecialists are available to help care for our surgical patients at the The Herman & Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai.
