Levindale is a Joint Commission accredited center. The Joint Commission evaluates and sanctions health care organizations and programs across the United States. This independent, not-for-profit organization is the predominant standards-setting body for health care in the nation.
Levindale has earned accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). CARF has been an internationally, independent, nonprofit accrediting body of human services since 1966. Its standards are focused on the outcomes and satisfaction of the people served.
The Baltimore Business Journal has named LifeBridge Health the Best Place to Work in Greater Baltimore in the large business category for the past three years.
Levindale was one of only two Maryland nursing homes invited to participate in a National Nursing Improvement Home Collaborative (NNIHC) in Texas in 2003, where we won several honors.
Over the past years, many of Levindale's employees, programs and volunteers have been honored as Daily Record Health Care Heroes award winners.
