Welcome to my last President's message. That's right, after three wonderful years at the helm of this terrific organization, I am proud to say, I am handing over the reins to a most qualified and excellent new President...Ellie Kagen. Ellie will be installed at our Luncheon Tea on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. Be on the lookout for your invitation. If you are interested in becoming a member of our exciting board, please let us know. Before I relinquish my post, we have a few more very important issues we need to address. This year, in lieu of a major Spring Fundraiser, we are focusing our attention on the new Levindale Auxiliary Sensory Garden Donor Wall. We completed the middle section, charter membership, and now we are asking donations be made to the right side of the triptych. So, if you want to add your support by funding a plaque in honor or in memory of someone special, or just in support of our Auxiliary, now is the time to lend your voice. All donations received by April 1st will be in time to be installed by our June Wine Tasting Event.
If you check out our upcoming events calendar, you will see March 10th was our Annual Face-to-Face event with the residents, Auxiliary and family members. The theme this year was "Crazy Caps, Costume Caravan" with music, magic, munchies and more. Many of us will be attending the resident's Passover Seders which you are all welcome to participate with us. And don't forget our Bartending Happy Hour on Friday, May 31st at 3:00pm in the Town Center at Levindale. We are a very busy group... Won't you join us in helping to make our Auxiliary grow?
